Lets Throw Some Dice...
Threes Dice
Each player adds $1 to the pot and rolls five dice.
The goal is to “bank” the lowest score.
Banking Dice
After you roll. You move a minimum of one die to a separate pile. That value of the dice in your banked pile represents your score.
Threes equal zero points.
You can bank as many dice as you want, but generally, you want to bank only the lowest numbers. The more dice you roll, the higher the chance you have of rolling a three.
Banked Score = 1
Keep rolling the remaining dice outside your bank until there are none left
The next player takes their turn to try to get a lower score.
Winner is the player with the lowest score, after everyone at the table has taken a turn.
In the event of a tie. The winners do not have to buy in for next game, growing the pot.
Alternatively, players who tied can play a winners circle round.
(Only in the case of low new player interest. Always prioritize keeping things moving and letting people have a chance to play over the reward of the pot.)
Shooting the moon
(AKA the Jenn Sotor Special)
If you bank all sixes. You automatically win the round.
(Despite it’s statistical improbability. Jenn’s success rate with it is unusually high. High risk, high reward.)
